Summer at Michael Wheat Pond and Garden Design

Where has the summer gone, huh?

It’s been an exciting, varied couple of months we've had at Michael Wheat, with many jobs coming in, across the country. This month we have had a huge job in Uppingham building a pond “from scratch” which has taken up most of the month but we have also been to Cambridge, Leicester (of course) and Northampton to meet with potential clients – and we are starting big pond building jobs near Hemel Hempstead and Desford in the coming weeks.

Our new members of staff have begun settling in amongst their colleagues throughout the month too – Bradley has made his mark on the company and has just taken full control of the company’s social media platforms; while Henry continues to develop his skills while on-site under the watchful eye of Lindsay and the team.

So, moving forward? Well, as we discussed earlier – we’re at jobs in Desford and Hertfordshire in the coming few weeks. We’re also expanding our operations with a few new faces joining the team in the coming few weeks.

In the last couple of months of the year, there are some exciting things to look forward to, away from “site”. At the end of October the team are going on their quarterly staff day out – this time they are going to the Crystal Maze experience in Manchester; we also have the Leicester Business Festival at the end of the month which Bradley is attending.

So, that, as they say, is that. With the night’s rolling in and the weather on the turn it is important for us to emphasise that nothing is changing in the office or out on site – the team is still as dedicated to the client and providing as excellent a service as possible. Bring on October!
